Parker “Pork” Mason

What’s up! My name is Parker Mason, but you may know me as Pork. I am from the Kansas City area, but I moved to Nashville in 2021 to go to school at Trevecca Nazarene University. While I was there I started out as a commercial music major, but decided after a year that I would learn more by switching to something related to business. I graduated in 2025 with a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.

At Trevecca the most important classes I took where Business communications, and Managerial Economics. In Business Com we read a book called How to Win Friends and Influence People. This book lead to the first revolutionary change in the way I viewed relationships and sales. In managerial Econ we learned all about things like pricing strategies, game theory, and using economics as a small business. I think this combination of classes has really helped me become successful after I graduated.

I am a Christian, a touring musician, and an entrepreneur. I currently play for several artists/bands including, Rob Langdon, Keep Warm, Cori Kennedy, Duke Jones, and Garrison Nunn. My favorite thing to do while on tour is find good coffee shop, a good bagel, or a beach bar. I am always down for an adventure and I hope to be the guy in every group that brings an enthusiasm for side quests while traveling.

When I am off the road I love to cook. I like pretend like I am a really sophisticated chef and host people over to try the things I make. I also take pride in working out consistently and have recently been trying to eat cleanly. Sometimes I am blessed enough to take long stretches of time in Kansas City with my family and friends who still live there. They always encourage me to continue to pursue my dreams and on a hard day it really keeps me going. I used to hate Kansas, but now that I have lived in Nashville for a while nothing beats going home.
